The Trucker and client Dark Cloud

One of Dr. Mange's favorite clients was Dark Cloud. The turbulent weather of the T.B. region made for the sharing of several jokes about where Dark Cloud should work, travel and earn his keep. This wasn't the way it always was before the amalgamation. Before the amalgamation native cultures were treated with the all the respect that a new country could muster. Dark Cloud was not a Chipewayan officially though his name could have been someone from the S.Ward.  Colonialism was like a bad dream that never was in the district of T.B.Dark Cloud did not go to a N.Ward highschool in my day.A great many Oji Cree, 5 or 6 must have been in the other highschools or the 4 year program anyway. I was a precocious child, traveling to Wpg. in my mothers arms on the CN and once saw a conductor that ressembled Dark Cloud. Did Dark Cloud ever stop his friendship with Dr. Mange?
